Reiki 2 builds upon your Reiki 1 knowledge. But, for some students it might have been quite a while since they learnt Reiki 1. They might have forgotten it or they simply are not feeling fully confident in their Reiki. This training day takes those worries away. Before you even start learning Reiki 2, the key information from your Reiki 1 is refreshed. Students come to Reiki 2 from different Reiki 1 teachers, who teach slightly different ways. It is important everyone feels ready to embrace Reiki Level 2.

Reiki Level 2 is sometimes called the Practioners Level. This is the qualification you need if you want to become a Reiki therapist. Maybe, for a change of career to fit around family life or an extra income. A Reiki Level 2 qualification allows you to become a Reiki healer to the public in the future. Reiki Level 2 Training Day

On this Reiki Level 2 day you will:

• Recap your Reiki Level 1 – revisit the Reiki principles, how to heal yourself and how to heal a loved one
• Learn about the sacred Reiki Level 2 symbols.
• Find out how and when to use the Reiki 2 symbols
• Discover about distance healing – get my insider tips. I have my own successful Reiki business, Culcheth Healing with distance healing clients abroad and around the UK.
• Learn about non traditional Reiki techniques, such as Stack Healing
• You will receive your Reiki Level 2 attunement which is believed to help you connect to the higher level Reiki energy more easily
• An opportunity to practice healing another person

You will be taught by myself, an experienced Reiki Teacher who is with the UK Reiki Federation at Reiki Master Teacher Level. I have had my own Reiki business for over a decade, which means I can give you beyond Reiki 2 theory. Reiki Level 2 Event Details

Date: Sunday 31st May 2026

Time: 10am until 5pm

Location: My therapy/ training room in Culcheth, a small village in Warrington, Cheshire. About 10 minutes by car from the M6, M62 and East Lancs

Investment: £140 – £40 non refundable deposit with the remaining £100 payable on the day itself. You simply need to bring your pen and lunch.

You will receive approved and accredited training, an accompanying brochure to take home, a framed certificate of your qualification, your Reiki Level 2 attunement,  as well as refreshments.

Common Reiki Level 2 Questions

Question: I am bit rusty on my Reiki Level 1 can I still attend?

Answer: Yes, have a chat with me. We will be going over Reiki Level 1 again as part of the training day.

Question: After my Reiki Level 1 training, I did the 21 days of Reiki on myself as I got instructed to do. However, I never had the opportunity to heal any friends or family. Can I still do Reiki 2 as I would really like to?

Answer: Yes. We all have different Reiki paths. I believe the right people are brought together on each Reiki training event. Some people have the opportunity to practice on loved ones and others do not. The great news is that learning Reiki Level 2  in a small group, you have others to be with and practice on, if you wish to.

Question: I didn’t get taught how to heal other people in my Reiki Level 1, just myself.

Answer: Reiki has come down from Usui ( the original founder last century) to Hayashi. From Hayashi to Takata and then in my training heritage Phillis Lei Furmuto (Takata’s granddaughter). Each Reiki Master has taught other Reiki Masters. I have found over the decade of teaching that most Reiki Level 1 training does vary considerably. However, they each contain core Reiki theory. Most include how to heal another person ( friend or family – not the public)

I have come across a few students whose Reiki 1 only included how to heal yourself. It is the way their Reiki Masters have separated the Reiki knowledge across the different levels.  You might feel a bit out of your depth doing my Reiki Level 2 course even though it contains a Reiki 1 refresher. I am going over the Reiki Level 1 knowledge in a morning rather than learning it across a Reiki 1 day. You are better having a chat with me.

Question: I don’t want to become a Reiki therapist, I just want to do Reiki Level 2 for myself. Can I still attend?

Answer: Yes, in a group most do not want to become a Reiki therapist. Your life and finances are set up to suit you. Some love their work and don’t want to leave it, they just want to develop on their Reiki path. Other students don’t relish their job but it covers their bills. They are doing the Reiki Level 2 for their soul, for themselves outside work and life commitments.

Question: I didn’t really practice my Reiki for 21 days, life got a bit in the way. Will this matter?

Answer: Students are advised to practice after qualifying in Reiki 1 to get used to the Reiki energy. It is a bit like going to the gym – if you go and don’t work out your muscles don’t grow.  Also, Reiki Level 1 is about self-healing, letting go of any unwanted energy in you. I would simply say let me know. Also, start practising from booking on this Reiki 2 training day to attending. Otherwise, your Reiki gift won’t have the opportunity to grow as much as it could.

Question: After Reiki Level 1, how long do I have to wait until I do Reiki Level 2?

Answer: A minimum of a month, as you need to have been  21 days practising on yourself. Getting used to the Reiki energy and growing it. To spend time self-healing and supporting your wellbeing. Also, as it is about working with energy, the time gap before Reiki Level 2 allows you to energetically re-adjust after the 21 days.

I have had people contact me for healing who have gone through healing crises, as they pushed their spiritual development too quickly, beyond what is healthy.

It is like art; you do not become a better artist learning faster, it is about the practice in-between your learning. Gaining knowledge and then implementing the knowledge through practice brings typically far greater results.

Question: I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. I really want to do my Reiki Level 2 can you help me?

Answer: I starting getting panic attacks after having an emergency c-section to give birth to my daughter. Any place where there was a gown, such as hairdressers or dentists, the panic would occur. So I understand the feeling.

I only teach in small class sizes. There are plenty of large windows that open and doors onto the garden. Just have a chat with me. People simply don’t talk about panic attacks – a hidden secret. They are far more common than you think.

I am used to helping students enjoy their day and imagine how proud you will feel having attending, overcome your feelings and achieving your Reiki Level 2.  A few minor adjustments, such as sitting by a window or turning up before other students, can make your day feel a lot calmer and relaxed.

Common Questions

Question: I am not very good at learning. I didn’t get any qualifications at school. Does it matter?

Answer: I believe we all have natural talents that often school does not cater for or discover. Reiki healing is one of those. I have taught people from a variety of backgrounds. I am showing you how to do it, practical exercises to follow.  The pressure is on me to teach you, that is what you are paying me for, so you can enjoy the day.

Question: Do I have to do any learning beforehand?

Answer: No, in fact you are better not doing any research or reading on reiki or reading. Reiki healing is using your hands, it is a practical life skill.

Question: How long do I have to wait to learn Reiki Level 2?

Answer: You will be practising Reiki on yourself for 21 days after the Reiki training day. This is to build up the Reiki energy, to get you familiar with it and also help heal yourself. Help you to let go of any unwanted energy.

You can then do Reiki Level 2 a minimum of a month to three months after.  It is like art, rushing learning it doesn’t make you a better artist. Also, because we are working with your body’s energy the gap is better for you energetically.

Question: I don’t know what I want to do in the future with Reiki. I think it is simply to help myself. Does that sound selfish?

Answer: No, not at all. The world is like a jar of marbles – white ones representing happy people, grey happyish people and black not happy people. If you become a brighter white shiny marble, your happiness ripples out to others. Some of the grey marbles might become white and some of the black may turn grey.

We need people who are healing themselves and creating more happiness. If you work in a company, your happiness ripples out to that company, if you are a parent your happiness ripples out to your family. Your happiness and wellbeing is important.

Question: I want to become a Reiki therapist, what qualifications do I need?

Answer: You need Reiki Level 1, so you get used to the energy and spend some time healing yourself. You can practice on friends and family.

Then, a minimum of a month later, you can move onto Reiki Level 2 where you learn about the reiki symbols, how to use them and about distance healing. Reiki level 2 is more the emotional and mental aspect. You would then with your Reiki Level 2 qualification be able to set up as a Reiki therapist, healing the general public.

Question: I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. I really want to learn Reiki to help me, but I am worried I won’t be able to cope and make a fool of myself in front of others.

Answer: I grew up with a mum who had panic attacks. I also started suffering with them after the birth of my daughter and an emergency c-section, so I understand what it is like.

The room is bright and airy with big windows. You can go to the garden in the breaks (or if you just need to). You might prefer sitting by a door, turning up a little earlier than everyone else so you can feel calmer. Have a chat with me. I have helped other students and it is more common than you think. It is a self- healing event after all. Imagine how proud you will feel attending the event and getting your Reiki 1 qualification.

What is Reiki Level 1?

Reiki Level 1 training day – Monday 4 May 2026

Join me on Monday 4 May 2026 for a welcoming, highly rated Reiki Level 1 training day in Culcheth, Warrington, Cheshire. We start at 10am and finish at 5pm.

The price for this Reiki 1 training day is £120. It is a £40 non refundable deposit, with the remaining £80 on the day itself. For this you receive your training, your Reiki attunements and  your certificate of your Reiki Level 1 qualification. Refreshments are provided, you simply need to bring your lunch and a pen.

You will be taught in a warm, supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace, ask questions and feel at ease.

If you are wanting to qualify as a Reiki Master, to take the next stage of the Reiki journey and to receive the Reiki Master attunement, then this Reiki Master training day is perfect. This Reiki Master Training includes how to teach Reiki, so in the future if  you decide you want to teach a loved one, colleague or paid student Reiki, you can. We often don’t know how our Reiki path will unfold and this Reiki Master/ Teacher qualification gives you the flexibility. Not all Reiki Master training courses include how to teach Reiki included.

Choosing Your Reiki Master Teacher

By the time you are looking at Reiki Master training, you are not just choosing, a training event, you are also choosing the person you will trust with your next level of attunement, development and (if you want to) the option to teach others.

Many students do not continue after Reiki 2. So if you are here, it is important that you feel safe, confident and genuinely supported in your Reiki training. You do not have to have been taught Reiki 2 by myself, Julia. Some students fined their  Reiki teacher no longer teaches, doesn’t teach Reiki Master level or they are simply guided to learn with someone different at Master level, I want to make this a grounded, well-held and empowering experience – for you to feel you have chosen well.

Are you Ready For Reiki Master Level?

Typically, you take the Reiki Master level a minimum of a year after Reiki Level 2. Many students take Reiki Master training for their own spiritual growth and Reiki development.

You do not need to want to set up as a Reiki business or plan to teach Reiki professionally to attend. However, the benefit of this Reiki training day is that it includes the option to learn how to teach Reiki to others too. This means you qualify as a Reiki Master/Teacher.

You may want to teach Reiki in the future, perhaps to a client or loved one, and this qualification gives you that flexibility on your Reiki journey. Hawayo Takata taught Reiki to her granddaughter, Phyllis Lei Furmoto  and later trained her to become a Reiki Master. This can be seen on the image below, which shows the Reiki Lineage from Usui, to Hayasha, Takata, the granddaughter and eventually to myself. If you train to become a Reiki Master with myself, you will be on this lineage too.

Maybe, you completed Reiki 1 recently and want to keep the momentum going, while everything still feels fresh. Or, you might have qualified in Reiki 1 years ago, feel a little rusty, having forgotten parts of it. You might feel you need a Reiki 1 recap before moving on. This is all very common.

This accredited Reiki Level 2 course in Warrington includes a revisit of the key Reiki 1 foundations. This is to help students from different  teachers and Reiki backgrounds feel more secure in their Reiki 1 knowledge before learning Reiki 2.

Students attend from Warrington, Wigan, St Helens, Manchester, Widnes, Stockport, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Chorley, Bolton and across Northwest England. The venue is easy to reach by car and there is street parking in a  quiet village location.

Reiki Level 2

Reiki Level 2 often feels like a natural next step. You may feel drawn to understand Reiki more deeply, work with the symbols, explore distance healing, and use Reiki with more confidence.

For some students, Reiki Level 2 is not only about personal growth. It is also the step that helps them move from learning Reiki for themselves to becoming a Reiki healer. To become a Reiki therapist to fit around current life demands. To help build a flourishing Reiki business.

About this Reiki Level 2 course

This is a fully accredited Reiki Level 2 training day taught in a small, supportive group. Reiki 1 is revisited first, which is especially helpful if you trained a while ago, learned with another teacher, or feel unsure in any area.

Teaching is calm, clear and grounded in real client experience, not just theory. There is plenty of time for questions, practice and reassurance, so you leave feeling more confident in Reiki and how to use it in real life.
You do not need to be academic or especially confident in learning settings. Reiki is taught in a down-to-earth, supportive way.

• Recap the core Reiki 1 principles to build your confidence
• Discover the sacred Reiki Level 2 symbols and how to use them
• Learn how to do distance healing
• Practical Reiki Level 2 work

This includes your training, Reiki 2 attunement, take-home Reiki Level 2 manual, certificate of your Reiki 2 qualification and refreshments. Please bring your own lunch, a pen and wear comfy clothes.

Location

This Reiki Level 2 course is held in Culcheth, Warrington, Cheshire, in my home training and therapy room. It is around 10 minutes by car from the M62, M6 and A580 East Lancs, making it easy to reach from Cheshire, Manchester and across the North West.

There is street parking in a quiet village area, which students often find easy and convenient. The nearest train stations are Birchwood, Glazebrook, Padgate and Warrington.

If you tend to feel anxious, are going through menopause, or simply prefer a bit more personal space, the rooms are light and airy with large windows, there is access to the garden, and regular breaks are built into the day.

How long after Reiki 1 can you do Reiki 2?

You usually wait around one to three months after Reiki 1 before taking Reiki Level 2, so you have time to complete your 21 days of self-healing practice and get used to the Reiki energy.

Every Reiki journey is different. Many students come to Reiki 2 soon after Reiki 1, while others return after a much longer gap. If you feel out of practice or have forgotten parts of Reiki 1, that is absolutely fine. The Reiki Level 1 recap is there to help you feel confident before moving forward.

Feiki” in the clinical study means sham Reiki. In everyday life, “fake Reiki” often means minimal training and no solid teaching framework. Proper Reiki training includes grounding, ethics, a professional reiki attunement and practical teaching.

A real phone call that changed how I explain Reiki 1 training

A few years ago, a lady called me and asked what’s covered in Reiki Level 1 and what I charge. We ended up chatting for around 20 minutes.

She then said: “Why would I pay when I can get attuned for free on YouTube?”

So I explained gently what people are actually paying for when they train with a recognised teacher:

• A structured course (not just a moment).
• Clear guidance and a grounded learning environment.
• Time for questions on the day, so you leave feeling confident rather than confused.
• A teacher with real-world experience – not just theory.

That, I’ve been teaching Reiki for over a decade, and I run my own Reiki business, Culcheth Healing.  I love teaching Reiki, had lots of student 5 star reviews and that you don’t just get reiki training, you achieve an accredited qualification.

A few months later, that same lady called again. She was having problems after “learning Reiki”. I asked who trained her (because the best support usually comes from the person who taught you).

She told me she’d done the free YouTube attunement.

That’s the moment many people don’t realise: an attunement isn’t the whole training. The teaching around it – grounding, ethics, boundaries, and how to practise safely – is what makes the difference between “I watched something” and “I actually know what I’m doing.”

Feiki (Sham Reiki) Is Happening

Over more than ten years of teaching Reiki, I have been contacted by potential students wanting to do their Beginners Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Therapists Level  2 straight away.  I have to explain that you need a gap of at least a month between the two qualifications, to practice Reiki on yourself for 21 days. This is to get used to the Reiki energy and to help heal yourself.  Most students are simply super keen to learn Reiki.  On hearing the reasons why to wait a month, they book on the next Reiki 1 training day they can attend and then wait the recommended period before commencing their Reiki 2 training.

However, some potential students now start to sound stressed.  They then often ask if I will teach them and qualify them over a weekend if they pay more.  I decline,  explaining simply, it’s a bit like art, you can’t suddenly become Matisse, Vincent Van Gough or Michelangelo after two days.

Once, they realise I won’t qualify them as Reiki therapists, the call abruptly ends. Some, I have found are already doing Reiki on the public. As they not qualified, effectively they are charging clients for sham Reiki or Feiki. They will therefore not be covered by insurance.

I do believe there are people with natural healing abilities, like a natural flair for art. I have had massages and can feel the warmth coming from the massage therapists hands. Maybe some Feiki therapists have been simply trying “reiki” out, to see if their clients actually want it, before they invest in qualifications.

Unfortunately, I do believe, some see Reiki as an easier way to make money. To simply stand and place their hands on someone and at the end of the allotted time, collect the payment.

Why Thorough Reiki Level 2 Training Matters For a Reiki Therapist

Reiki is more than simply copying hand positions or a Reiki attunement. Reiki training is about teaching it in a structured way to keep you safe, your client and the environment where you are doing the healing. Here are some things that aren’t often discussed about a Reiki healing session

The Client:

• Your clients may cry – there seems to be a recent trend of putting eye masks over clients, as if it Reiki is simply a “relax and lie down treatment”.
• You can nearly get kicked by clients in the face as you heal their feet and the old energy is trying to leave the body.
• Clients can report feeling a pressing sensation on them, which makes them want to open their eyes suddenly.
• Clients can suddenly start complaining of their hands hurting.
• Clients may have a sudden change in their body temperature changes.
• Clients tell you they are seeing visual images whilst you heal. If they start seeing grey it can frighten them.

You Reiki Master teacher should be able to cover these practical client experiences and what to do.

What about you, the Reiki therapist:

• You could suddenly feel overwhelmed.
• You could feel anxious.
• You may feels aches or sensations  in your body that are not normally associated with you.
• Rarely you may feel scared, sense that the client has something more than usual human body energy, like an energetic attachment.
• The client may tell you they are having the reiki for a general “feel better, time out ” session, yet on arrival they tell you all their darkest trauma. You need to know how to energetically protect yourself.

Again, your Reiki Master teacher should have the depth of practical experience to help. This might be covered on your  training or your Reiki Master is happy to take your calls after. I still have Reiki therapists and Reiki Master Teachers, that were my former students, phoning me occasionally .

Reiki is More Than Woo Woo

Reiki often is portrayed as woo woo. It isn’t about sparkles, rainbows and unicorns. It is a form of energy healing. You can nowadays, read a book on Reiki, do an online Reiki course or  you can go and watch a YouTube video.

The reason why traditional Reiki training is passed from one master to another, is not for a secret club. It does keep Reiki sacred and also allows the much needed core Reiki teaching information to be included. However, you also receive the practical wisdom of the Reiki Master.

Reiki was taught originally orally, and students had to learn it by heart, become at one with the Reiki energy. Paper was also very expensive when Reiki was first starting in Japan, so you didn’t typically receive an accompanying Reiki brochure to take home from your training, to help remind you.

When I teach Reiki, I verbally include stories of my experiences of Reiki. For my Reiki students, I can teach Reiki theory, as well as give them the practical insights that I have gained from a decade of teaching and actually being a Reiki therapist, Students love this practical teaching style, as it helps them to avoid pitfalls,  gain greater confidence and advance their reiki.

Some students and clients want to know your Reiki lineage. They like if it is traceable to Usui, the original founder, century in Japan. Investing in decent Reiki training makes you stand out from other Reiki therapists.

What “Feiki” means in the study (and why it matters)

In the trial, Feiki, the sham Reiki, was available with the same time, similar setting and hand placements, so the researchers could compare results properly for the clinical trial.

What the trial found (kept simple)

The study included 164 adults with physician-confirmed knee osteoarthritis, assigned to one of four groups: Reiki, sham Reiki (Feiki), mindfulness meditation, or a waitlist control.
(“Waitlist control” simply means they did not receive the study sessions during the trial period – they were the comparison group.)
Each active option was four weekly 30-minute sessions – so two hours total.
The headline result (clinically meaningful improvement: over 30% symptom reduction):
• 55% in the Reiki group
• 55% in the mindfulness group
• 20% in the sham Reiki (Feiki) group
• 13% in the waitlist control group

Reiki and Mindfulness

Mindfulness performed strongly in the trial, producing similar results to Reiki. But here’s the real-life truth, for many people mindfulness is brilliant when you have the capacity to practise it consistently.

When you’re busy, stressed, exhausted, or in pain, adding a daily practice can feel like another thing you’re failing at. That’s where Reiki can be so helpful, as you can receive it when you’re depleted, or learn it so you have a skill you can use in minutes at home.

For me, what is exciting about this study, it highlights using Reiki with mindfulness, in a way that fits real life to help your health.

There are so many styles of mediation and mindfulness. A Reiki Teacher usually knows different ways to meditate to fit around your needs, as they usually  include meditation when training students.

Ready to Learn Reiki ?

Reiki Level 1 is  ideal if you want a healing skill for life and  self-care. Reiki Level 1 typically teaches you how to use it on yourself and your loved ones.

Reiki Level 2 is for or those ready to deepen their practice. To discover how to use the sacred Reiki symbols and how to heal remotely. Also, a few students at this stage choose to become reiki therapists .

Reiki Master/ Teacher Level 3 is about the spiritual aspect of Reiki, where you receive your final Reiki attunement. If you wish, you can teach Reiki to the public or maybe a loved one. Hawayo Takata, who brought Reiki to the west, taught her Grand daughter, Phillis Lei Furumoto, to become a Reiki Master.

What Is Reiki Level 1?

Common Reiki Level 1 Questions

Do You Need Any Spiritual Experience?

No. You do not need to meditate, visualise, or have any previous energy-work experience. Reiki is taught in a clear, practical way, and everything is explained gently and thoroughly.

How Long Do I Have To Wait To Learn Reiki Level 2

It is recommended you wait at least one to three months. After Reiki 1 you practice Reiki on yourself daily for 21 days. In this time it is helping you to get used to the Reiki energy and also help you support your own healing. It is a bit like art, the more you practice the better you usually become. It is a life skill

How Do I Prepare for the Day

You are paying me to teach you. I recommend not reading up as it can get confusing. I would suggest the night before getting sleep and avoiding lots of alcohol. You will be investing a day in how to heal yourself (and if you want loved ones). I want to help you learn, to practice on the day so you leave the day with your Reiki 1 qualification and feeling excited about what you have learnt.

I Get Anxious In Groups

This is perfectly natural. Reiki 1 is about helping to support yourself in your healing. Being in a new place, with new people can be daunting. I grew up with a mum who used to suffer from high anxiety and panic attacks. In fact, I started getting them after an emergency c-section to give birth to my daughter. So, have a chat with me.

Sometimes, it can be the small things that make the difference. Such as arriving a little earlier, sitting by a window or near the door, having your own cup or being able to go out in the garden on a regular basis.

I’ve helped other students attend. Imagine how proud you will feel having done your Reiki 1 training day, met other spiritual souls and getting your Reiki 1 qualification. In the future, you might even choose to do Reiki level 2 to  become a Reiki therapist to help others like yourself. Everyone’s Reiki journey is different.

Some students are looking to learn Reiki Level 2 to become Reiki therapists. To heal beyond their friends and family, to those in need within the community. They might:

• have a stable job which they don’t want to leave but, want to do something purposeful alongside it.
• be a full time parent but, want to have another identity, so they feel more like their “old selves”
• need an income to fit around school hours and family life.
• want a side income ,a “side hustle”  maybe wanting to have extra peace of mind, more of a financial buffer.

With the cost of living rising and constant pressure around money, I am finding more women are shifting away from fear and tightening spending. Instead choosing to invest in themselves, to learn new skills, and create additional income stream from Reiki that feel aligned and achievable. Learning Reiki Level 2 and being a Reiki therapist can be the beginning of that shift, without changing your life dramatically.

About this Reiki Level 2 training day

This is a highly recommended, fully accredited Reiki Level 2 training day, taught in a small, supportive group so you feel confident, grounded, and able to actually use Reiki in real life.

On the day Reiki Level 1 is revisited to strengthen confidence and understanding. Students come from a variety of different Reiki 1 teachers and some did their training quite a long time ago. You’ll learn both the knowledge and the practical “how to do it” experience. Teaching is clear, calm, and grounded in real client work, not just theory
There is plenty of space for questions, reflection, and reassurance. You don’t need to have been smart at school, in fact, I had one student where Reiki was the first qualifications they had ever achieved.

This day is suitable whether you want to deepen your Reiki practice for yourself, or begin using Reiki professionally alongside your current life.

Reiki 2 Event Details

Date: Sunday 8th March 2026

Time: 10am until 5pm

Price: £40 non refundable deposit, remaining balance of £100 on the day. This covers your training, your take home Reiki level 2 brochure, Reiki 2 attunement, certificate of your Reiki Level 2 qualification and refreshments. You simply need to bring your own lunch and a pen. Comfy clothes recommended.

Location: in my home training and therapy room in Culcheth, Warrington, Cheshire. It is about 10 minutes by car from the M62, M6 and A580 East Lancs. The nearest train stations are Birchwood, Glazebrook, Padgate and Warrington.

If you tend to feel anxious, going through menopause or need your personal space, the rooms are light with large windows. There is also access to a garden. We have regular breaks. Simply let me know.

How Long To Learn Reiki 2 After Reiki 1

You need to wait one to three months after learning your Reiki 1. This gives you time to practice for 21 days after your Reiki 1. You are learning a new skill. Like art everyone can draw, but to varying degrees. The more you practice the better it gets. You get more used to the Reiki energy. By practising on yourself, you have been helping to heal yourself.

By having a gap,  you have given yourself time to heal, practice with the energy and get your energy system at its new place of balance.

Some students in their Reiki 1 courses covered healing others – family and friends. There are some Reiki teachers that solely teach about healing yourself in Reiki Level 1. If you are coming to Reiki Level 2 without healing anyone else you know personally that is fine. Just let me know so I can go more deeper in my teacher on those areas or anywhere you feel a bit weaker in.

It is your personal Reiki journey. I learnt Reiki to help my brother, so I was fortunate, I had him to practice on once I had achieved my Reiki Level 1. But, no others family or friends were asking for me to heal them with Reiki. We all have unique paths.

Reiki Level 2 will allow you to heal the public, if you wish.

Choosing Your Reiki Master Teacher

By the time you are looking at Reiki Master training, you are not just choosing a training event, you are also choosing the person you will trust with your next level of attunement, development and (if you want to) the option to teach others.

Many students do not continue after Reiki 2. So if you are here, it is important that you feel safe, confident and genuinely supported in your Reiki training. You do not have to have been taught Reiki 2 by myself. Some students fined their  Reiki teacher no longer teaches, doesn’t teach Reiki Master level or they are simply guided to learn with someone different at Master level, I want to make this a grounded, well-held and empowering experience – for you to feel you have chosen well.

Are you Ready For Reiki Master Level?

Typically, you take the Reiki Master level a minimum of a year after Reiki Level 2. Many students take Reiki Master training for their own spiritual growth and Reiki development.

You do not need to want to set up as a Reiki business or plan to teach Reiki professionally to attend. However, the benefit of this Reiki training day is that it includes the option to learn how to teach Reiki to others too. This means you qualify as a Reiki Master/Teacher.

You may want to teach Reiki in the future, perhaps to a client or loved one, and this qualification gives you that flexibility on your Reiki journey. Hawayo Takata taught Reiki to her granddaughter, Phyllis Lei Furmoto  and later trained her to become a Reiki Master. This can be seen on the image below, which shows the Reiki Lineage from Usui, to Hayasha, Takata, the granddaughter and eventually to myself. If you train to become a Reiki Master with myself, you will be on this lineage too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be psychic already?
No. This is an introduction day designed for beginners, simply-curious or wanting to develop.
Will we be doing practical exercises?
Yes, you’ll practise a variety of techniques including Zener cards, scrying, psychometry and automatic writing.
Is this workshop suitable if I feel anxious or unsure?
Yes. The day is supportive and paced gently, with grounding and protection included.
What should I bring?
Lunch and a pen. You’ll receive notes and supporting material on the day. I would wear comfortable clothing.
Is the payment refundable?
No. The £50 is full prepayment to secure your place and is non-refundable. Please do not therefore book on if you cannot afford to lose the money due to sickness or a life event. The class size is only small for teaching purposes and it is not financially viable for me to run them otherwise.
