Energy Healing with Chakra and Aura Therapy

Energy healing can be known under many different names such as: energy medicine, energetic healing, energy therapy and bio-energy therapy. You may be considering energy healing as you don’t know what is wrong with you, or you feel the medical profession cannot help you properly, or you may feel your recovery is slower than you anticipated.

What is energy healing and how does energy healing work?

Every living creature is made up of energy which vibrates at different frequencies. Essentially, energy healing looks at the rebalancing of your energy pathways and centres which may have become blocked over time, resulting in illness.

What happens during an energy healing treatment?

You can choose to come to my clinic in Culcheth, Warrington or to my home treatment room. You lie fully clothed on the therapy bed. Energy is sent by the placing of my hands lightly on or slightly above the area of the body needing healing.

What will I feel during an energy treatment?

You may feel warmth, coldness or a slight tingling sensation on the area where the energy is being delivered. You may also feel a general sense of calmness or relaxation.

Do I need to close my eyes or to be touched?

It is entirely up to you if you wish to keep your eyes open for the whole treatment but, by the end you may find you have closed them without realising. Also, I am aware some people do not like, for example, their feet being touched, so please just inform me during the pre-treatment consultation and I will work above the area instead.

How do you know where to heal?

I actually feel my hands being moved or guided to the areas I need to heal.  When the area no longer needs treatment I feel my hands relax and “slump”, then my hands move onto the next area of the body. I also “see” dark areas on the body needing attention. Sometimes I know why the area needs healing – I may hear in my ear what the reasons are (clairaudience) or will visually “see” what has happened (clairvoyance) – such as a client previously having a heavy fall which is now giving leg problems. I never get informed of too personal information as it is of no benefit to the healing.

What is chakra and aura therapy?

Part of my energy healing work will include assisting the chakras (your body’s energy points) and the outer energy field, known as the aura. The human body consists of energy pathways (meridians) and energy points (chakras) which can become closed or blocked. The aura, the energy field around the body can also become affected. My energy treatment will include the healing of these areas.

What are chakras and why are they important?

The chakras are the energy points are linked to e.g. the endocrine/gland system so they are of huge importance. Sometimes the chakra will show itself to me as looking partially blocked or out of kilter. I then know I will need to work on that area, but usually I find my hands are about to be or already have been guided there. A person may be experiencing fatigue or lack of zest of life due to a chakra spinning too slowly or not quite centred, whereas a person experiencing hyperactivity could be through an overactive chakra.

How many chakras are there in the body?

There are seven well publicised major energy centres throughout the body, as well as many minor ones. These are commonly known as the root chakra, sacral chakra, solar plexus chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, third eye chakra and the crown chakra.

However, I also find that I frequently have to work with the chakras in the hands and feet, and occasionally I am shown a chakra below and between the feet to send healing to. I also see the three chakras above the head which allow us, in summary, to attach to the universe.  I may find I am working on the first two, especially when a client is feeling emotionally detached and insular such as after the sudden death of a loved one.

Why would I need help with my aura?

The aura is made up of many layers, a bit like an onion. The aura is affected by our wellbeing – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.  For example, if you are feeling loving and happy the aura expands outwards. When I have a client who is having chaotic thoughts, such as the feeling of complete despair or suicide, this can show up in a chaotic looking aura that is not smooth, but erratic in shape. If a client is taking anti-depressants the aura often appears very smooth, compact and close to the body.

Can I take my current prescribed medication?

Yes, the great thing about energy healing is that it works in conjunction with your current medication.

How many treatments will I need?

Every client is different as it depends on factors such as the severity of their illness, the duration and their lifestyle. Many clients will have one to three treatments and even after the first one there is normally an improvement. However recovery can be hindered by the client themselves, such as overindulging in alcohol – not ideal – rather like putting a car in for a service and then filling it with the wrong petrol and wondering why it won’t perform.
