Have you been meaning to continue to Reiki Level 2, only to find another year slipping by? This is the final Reiki Level 2 training day at Culcheth Healing in 2026. It is an opportunity to refresh your Reiki Level 1 knowledge, deepen your Reiki practice and finish the year with an accredited Reiki Level 2 qualification.
You may feel a little rusty, have forgotten some of the Reiki hand positions or simply want reassurance before moving forward. That is completely normal. We begin the day by gently revisiting the key parts of Reiki Level 1 so you feel settled, confident and ready to learn Reiki Level 2.
During the course, you will learn the sacred Reiki Level 2 symbols, explore distance healing and gain more confidence using Reiki with others.
Finish 2026 with a meaningful personal achievement and enter 2027 with deeper Reiki knowledge, new healing techniques and the qualification commonly taken by those who later wish to offer Reiki professionally.
There is no pressure to become a Reiki therapist. Many students complete Reiki Level 2 for their own healing, spiritual development and personal Reiki journey.

Reiki Level 2
Reiki Level 2 builds on the foundations of Reiki Level 1, but many students come to this course after a gap. Students may also have completed Reiki Level 1 with different teachers, who can each teach Reiki in a slightly different way. The Reiki Level 1 recap helps bring everyone together and gives you a shared foundation before moving into the Level 2 teachings.
Reiki Level 2 is often known as the Practitioner Level. For some students qualify in Reiki Level 2 as they want the option to become a Reiki therapist. To earn income as a Reiki therapist or creating a more flexible way of working around a current career, family life or on retirement. For others, Reiki Level 2 is simply about following an inner nudge to go deeper, learning the Reiki symbols, exploring distance healing and continuing their spiritual development.
We all have different Reiki paths. There is no pressure to use Reiki professionally or to know where your Reiki journey may eventually lead.
What You Will Learn on Your Reiki Level 2 Training Day

The course combines Reiki theory with demonstrations, discussion and practical experience. You will be guided clearly through each stage in a friendly and supportive small group.
Not All Reiki Qualifications Are the Same
You will qualify in Reiki Level 2 and receive a fully accredited, framed certificate. However, not all Reiki qualifications carry the same training heritage. Because I am an Usui Reiki Master Teacher, my Reiki training lineage can be traced through generations of Reiki teachers back to Mikao Usui, the original founder of Reiki. This means you are also entitled to have these special words included on your certificate:
“Attunement and training in the Usui Natural Healing in accordance with the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition”
You are not simply receiving a Reiki Level 2 qualification. You are becoming part of something special, the continuing heritage of Reiki, passed from Reiki Master Teacher to student for more than a century. This may also be reassuring if you later decide to offer Reiki professionally, continue to Reiki Master Teacher level or teach Reiki yourself in the future.

Your Reiki Level 2 training will be taught in a small class, allowing time for personalised support, questions and practical experience. At the end of the day, you will receive your accredited Reiki Level 2 qualification and a framed certificate recognising your achievement.
You will be taught by me, Julia, an experienced Reiki Master Teacher registered with the UK Reiki Federation at Reiki Master Teacher level. I have run Culcheth Healing for over a decade. This means I can give you more than Reiki Level 2 theory. I share practical knowledge gained through teaching Reiki, working with clients and running a successful Reiki business. I want to help your Reiki flourish.
I am recognised as a leading Reiki teacher in Cheshire and a North West Reiki expert, having been featured in national UK press and Australian media on Reiki and other spiritual topics. I teach all three levels of Reiki: Reiki Level 1, Reiki Level 2 and Reiki Master Teacher level. I am also a teacher of North West Reiki therapists and Reiki Masters, with former students now running their own Reiki practices and teaching Reiki themselves.
Most importantly, the course is taught in a welcoming and down-to-earth way. You will be supported throughout the day so you can learn, practise and qualify with confidence.
Common Reiki Level 2 Questions
I am a bit rusty on my Reiki Level 1. Can I still attend?
Yes. We will recap the key parts of Reiki Level 1 as part of the training day. You do not need to arrive remembering everything. The recap is there to refresh your knowledge and help you feel comfortable before moving on to Reiki Level 2. However, if you feel you cannot remember any of your Reiki Level 1 training, please have a chat with me. You may feel more comfortable repeating Reiki Level 1 first.
I completed my 21 days of self-Reiki but did not have the opportunity to practise on friends or family. Can I still attend?
Yes. We all have different Reiki paths and circumstances. Some students have plenty of opportunities to practise on loved ones, while others do not. One advantage of learning Reiki Level 2 in a small group is that you will have the opportunity to practise with another student during the course.
I was only taught how to heal myself during Reiki Level 1. Can I attend?
Reiki Level 1 training can vary considerably between teachers. Some courses include self-healing and offering Reiki to loved ones, while others concentrate mainly on self-healing. My Reiki Level 2 course includes a Reiki Level 1 refresher, but the recap takes place during one morning rather than across a complete Reiki Level 1 training day.
Please have a chat with me before booking. I can help you decide whether you will feel comfortable joining Reiki Level 2 or whether repeating Reiki Level 1 first would give you a stronger foundation.
I do not want to become a Reiki therapist. Can I still complete Reiki Level 2?
Yes. Many students who attend Reiki Level 2 do not intend to become professional Reiki therapists.
Some people love their existing work and simply want to deepen their Reiki knowledge. Others complete Reiki Level 2 for their own healing, personal development and spiritual journey. Your Reiki path belongs to you.
I did not practise Reiki for the full 21 days after Reiki Level 1. Will this matter?
Students are encouraged to practise after Reiki Level 1 so they become familiar with Reiki energy and develop confidence using it. It is a little like joining a gym: attending once gives you the knowledge, but regular practice helps you grow stronger. Please let me know before the training day. I would also encourage you to begin practising self-Reiki again after booking and continue until the Reiki Level 2 course.
How long should I wait between Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2?
I recommend waiting at least one month after Reiki Level 1. This gives you time to complete your recommended 21 days of self-Reiki, become familiar with the Reiki energy and focus on your own healing and well-being.
Learning Reiki is similar to learning art. You do not become a better artist simply by completing courses quickly. Your development comes from practising and applying what you have learned between each level.
I experience anxiety or panic attacks. Can you help me feel comfortable during the course?Yes. I began experiencing panic attacks after the emergency Caesarean birth of my daughter, so I understand how overwhelming they can feel.
I only teach small classes. The training room has large windows that open and doors leading onto the garden. Small adjustments can make a considerable difference. You may prefer to sit near a window, arrive before the other students or speak to me privately before the course.
