Reiki Master training is not only for people who intend to teach. For many students, it is a deeply personal step: a chance to deepen their connection to Reiki, receive the Master attunement and finally complete the level they have felt quietly drawn towards.
On Sunday 6th December 2026, I will be holding my final Reiki Master training day of the year in Culcheth, Warrington, Cheshire.

What Does Becoming a Reiki Master Mean to You?
People choose Reiki Master training for many different reasons. You may want to deepen your connection to Reiki, continue your personal healing or explore the spiritual side of Reiki more fully. Perhaps Reiki has supported you through bereavement, illness, anxiety, family difficulties or a significant change in your life. You might already offer Reiki to clients and feel ready to strengthen your knowledge and confidence. You may want to teach Reiki professionally one day, or simply have the ability to pass this gift to a loved one or future student.
There is no single correct reason for becoming a Reiki Master. For some people, it is the beginning of teaching Reiki. For others, it is a deeply personal and spiritual achievement: the completion of a journey that began when they first learned Reiki Level 1.
Do I Need to Have Trained with You Before?
You do not need to have completed your Reiki Level 1 or Reiki Level 2 training with me.
Some students discover that their original Reiki teacher no longer teaches or does not offer Reiki Master training. Others simply feel drawn towards a different teacher for this stage of their development.
Reiki Master training is typically taken at least one year after completing Reiki Level 2. This gives you time to work with the Reiki energy, use the Reiki symbols and gain your own experience before moving to Master level.

Your Reiki Master Training Day
Date: Sunday 6th December 2026
Time: 10am until 5pm
Location: Culcheth Healing, Culcheth, Warrington, Cheshire
Culcheth is conveniently located for students travelling from St Helens, Wigan, Widnes, Manchester and across the North West.
Investment: £200 in total. A £50 non-refundable deposit secures your place, with the remaining £150 payable on the training day.
Places: Limited to four students. The small class allows time for questions, practical experience, personalised teaching and individual support throughout the day.
Your training includes your Reiki Master attunement, an accompanying course brochure, refreshments and a framed certificate of your accredited qualification. You simply need to bring your lunch and a pen.
Your Reiki Master Training
On the training there will be:
- Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2 discussion and recap
- Your Reiki Master attunement
- An introduction to and practice using the Reiki Master symbol
- Learning how to pass Reiki Level 1, Reiki Level 2 and Reiki Master attunements
- Practical experience of passing Reiki attunements
- Guidance on holding Reiki training spaces with confidence and integrity
- Consideration of your personal Reiki path and spiritual vocation
- Learning how to share your Reiki knowledge with future students
- A small-group support and individual attention
- Your accredited Reiki Master/Teacher qualification
Qualify as an Accredited Reiki Master/Teacher
Because the teaching element is included, you will qualify as a Reiki Master/Teacher. You do not need to intend to teach Reiki professionally. However, if your Reiki journey leads you towards teaching in the future, you will already have learned how to pass the Reiki attunements. You will not need to complete a separate teaching qualification later.
You may one day choose to pass Reiki on to a loved one, as Hawayo Takata did with her granddaughter, Phyllis Lei Furumoto, or to your own future Reiki students.
More Than an Accredited Reiki Certificate
For most student knowing that the training is accredited is important, but your Reiki certificate can represent more than the completion of an approved course.
Before accredited Reiki qualifications existed, Reiki was traditionally passed from one Reiki Master to another through teaching, attunements and practical experience. This created a lineage beginning with Mikao Usui and continuing through generations of Reiki Masters and teachers.
My Reiki lineage has been checked and verified by the UK Reiki Federation back to Mikao Usui. When you complete your Reiki Master training with me, you become part of this continuing Reiki heritage.
Because of this verified lineage, you are entitled to have these special words included on your framed Reiki Master certificate:
“Attunement and training in the Usui Natural Healing in accordance with the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition.”
These words show that your qualification is connected to the traditional Usui Reiki system and its teaching lineage. You are not simply receiving an accredited certificate. You are taking your place within Reiki’s continuing heritage and, should you choose, becoming able to pass that gift to the next generation of Reiki students and Reiki Masters.
Learn from Reiki Client and Teaching Experience
At Reiki Master level, it is important to choose a teacher who can answer your questions from both a practical and spiritual perspective.
I have been teaching all three levels of Reiki for over a decade. I am a member of the UK Reiki Federation at Reiki Master Teacher level, and my courses are approved and accredited by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine.
For over ten years, I have been running my own dedicated Reiki healing practice. Reiki was not simply something I taught occasionally alongside other therapies. It was at the heart of my professional work.
I have used Reiki with clients from across the UK and worldwide. This means you will be taught using genuine Reiki client knowledge and practical experience, as well as more than a decade of Reiki teaching experience.
I have also been featured in the media in the UK and Australia on Reiki and other spiritual topics. You can ask questions about using Reiki in real life, helping clients, developing confidence, teaching students and following your own spiritual path. I can share practical knowledge, insight and wisdom that cannot always be learned from a course manual alone.
What if I Feel Nervous or Don’t Remember Everything?
You are not expected to arrive remembering every detail from Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2. Some students worry that they have forgotten something important. Others feel nervous about meeting new people, learning the Master symbol or practising how to pass Reiki attunements.
The day includes opportunities to recap your previous Reiki knowledge, ask questions and practise in a small, friendly group. With a maximum of four students, you will receive individual help and support.

You can also call me before booking. Sometimes a small adjustment, such as sitting near a door or taking a short break in the garden, can make a significant difference.
Does My Life Need to Be Perfect?
Becoming a Reiki Master does not mean that you have mastered life or that you will never experience ailments, worries or challenges again. None of us has a perfect life. You do not need to meditate all day, feel spiritually confident all the time or have every part of your life worked out before completing Reiki Master training. We are all continuing to learn and grow.
Usui gave us the five Reiki Principles to help us let go, become less judgemental and continue along our paths with greater grace, ease, love and joy. Your life does not need to be perfect for you to take the next step in your Reiki journey.
